Hi Julie, thank you. I completed ISHTA TY April 2002. We have never met but I feel as if we have through your videos. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery and the 15 min video’s are wonderful.
Namaste, Laura
Hi Laura- I’m really glad you found me despite the fact that I am no longer at ISHTA. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help you. I hope you recover well from your injury. Feel free to email me if you’d like to go over anything one-on-one.
Best,
Julie
Hello Julie, ur video is really awesome. I’m interested in yoga, so I will start practicing it
I have a question for u, if we do extra exercise, should we do it before doing this yoga routine or after it ?
Hi Luna- I am happy to hear you are getting into yoga and thank you for your kind words. Assuming that you are asking about cardio and other strengthening exercises, I recommend that you do those first and finish with your yoga. Though not undisputed a lot of research shows that stretching after a workout is safer and more effective than before. For instance, check out this article http://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/features/new-ideas-on-proper-stretching-techniques. Let me know how it goes!
