Replace Fat With Spice For Heathier Cooking

One thing I’ve learned about how to achieve healthier cooking is to use to spices to replace excess fat. Check out the article “Mighty Mixes” from WSJ.com, which suggests some interesting spice mixes you might like to try.

Spices I keep in my cabinet (to which I plan to add) so far include:

Cumin

Turmeric

Curry Powder

Ground Nutmeg

Ginger

Cinnamon

Crushed Red Pepper
