Clients, fellow teachers, teacher trainees, and group class/workshop students often ask me what yoga books I like and recommend that they read to learn more about the many dimensions of yoga. I read a lot and use certain books as constant references. In this post, I share with you a few important texts that will give you a solid introduction to the history of yoga, yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, yoga asana, and yoga breathing. Some are classics and certainly my favorites, but I am also providing a variety of non-classics for different types of reads. This is likely the first of several posts I will do on this topic. These books are a section of my library, which of course as all libraries do, continuously grows. I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
