I have worked with thousands of clients across the spectrum of health and from all walks of life. My clients have ranged in age from 12-91 years. They have been optimally healthy and pain-free, and often the opposite. Whether working on preventative health measures such as strength, weight loss, and flexibility, or healing from torn knee ligaments, hip replacement surgery, spinal injury, diabetes, and auto-immune disease, I always approach each person as an individual, customizing each and every program to suit the whole person in front of me.
I also work with corporate clients some of which have included IBM, Fortress Investments, Alexander Calder Foundation, Yahoo, Deborah Lippman Enterprises, The Marti Hotel Group, The One Hotel Group, and Morvillo Abramowitz.
I am founder of Julie Wilcox Wellness (JWW), credentialed across what I believe to be the three essential pillars of health; nutrition, yoga, and fitness. I am a Yoga Alliance of America certified instructor, an ACE™ certified personal trainer, and am a nutritionist completing my M.S. at NYU in Nutrition and Dietetics. Former stops I've made along the way include: original co-founder and CEO of ISHTA Yoga, adjunct Professor of Health and Fitness at St. Francis College, and prolific health and wellness blogger with articles and videos featured in Forbes, FoxNews, MindBodyGreen, Parade, Refinery29, and Greatist to name a few. I received my A.B. from Harvard in English and American Literature.
