Julie Wilcox is a seasoned health and wellness expert with two decades of experience across nutrition, yoga and fitness. She has taught thousands of clients individually, through corporate, educational, and non-profit wellness programs, and via her entrepreneurial ventures, which include: founder of the Julie Wilcox Method; co-founder and CEO of ISHTA Yoga; adjunct Professor of Health and Fitness at St. Francis College; Health and Wellness Writer and Content Creator with articles and videos featured in Forbes, FoxNews, MindBodyGreen, Parade, Refinery29, and Greatist to name a few. Julie earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at NYU and completed her A.B. at Harvard College in English and American Literature. Julie has national certifications in yoga and fitness training through Yoga Alliance of America and ACE™.
Julie was an Olympic aspiring gymnast as a child. She trained with Russian coaches from an early age. Though brutal, the training imbued her with a deep passion for health and wellness as manifested in mind, body and spirit. Julie has a fourteen year old daughter and resides in New York City. In addition to developing and cooking healthy recipes and meals and practicing yoga, Julie loves to run, play tennis, ski, go for long walks on the beach, hike, and surf among other activities.
