It's that time of year to get your green fruits in before they're out of season. Honeydew melon and kiwi are two of my favorite verdant vegetables. Both are sweet and delicious while at the same time extremely hydrating. They are an excellent source of vitamin c, potassium and both soluble and insoluble fiber, which greatly¬†enhances digestive health.¬†Paired with probiotic yogurt in the morning for breakfast, your healthy gut bacteria will flourish. Both are very low in calorie to boot if you're trying to shed a few pounds!
