It’s that time of year to get your green fruits in before they’re out of season. Honeydew melon and kiwi are two of my favorite verdant vegetables. Both are sweet and delicious while at the same time extremely hydrating. They are an excellent source of:

  • vitamin c
  • potassium
  • soluble and insoluble fiber (which greatly¬†enhance digestive health)

Paired with probiotic yogurt in the morning for breakfast, your healthy gut bacteria will flourish and your microbiome could start to calm down reducing symptoms of gut-related disorders like IBS. Both are very low in calorie to boot if you’re trying to shed a few pounds!
