Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpeas (canned or initially dry and cooked)
  • 1 cup tahini
  • Fresh lemon juice 1 one squeezed lemon
  • 1 garlic clove (optional)
  • 2/3 water (plus some more)
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Place chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and 2/3 cup water into blender.
  2. Blend until smooth adding more water if needed.
  3. Keep adding water until you get a thick cream-like consistency.
  4. Salt to taste.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Serve.
